Been born to Paderno Dugnano Segantin is an instinctive painter, he uses the colours as pure emotions, not contents in the cages of the common respect, he draws figures and images by motives by their nature plaintive and this notwithstanding fuil and aggressive.Often he disconcerts for a vein of naiveté and just ofterwards he merits attention for a kind of vision not discorded. ls however of every artist out lists, to be discontinuous and voluabie at the same time; and Segantin is really out of the fights, in his tower of ivory, without doubt, equaì to anyone, often different also from himself.                                                              Franco Tralli
